Turns out penguins CAN fly

It was quite a saga bringing these traditional penguin decanters home. They were allowed through security, but the land crew at our gate told us they could be used to bludgeon a flight attendant and thus must be discarded, as it was too late to gate check a bag. After much arguing and pleading, we got the airside crew to consult. They cracked up at the entire situation, and after verbally confirming we did not plan to kill a flight attendant with a penguin, they agreed to hold them for us at the front of the plane during the flight.
